Painless swelling of the forehead and eyelids may occur in the first 5 days. This is temporary and should subside in 3-4 days.
You may experience a numbing sensation in the donor and recipient area for 2 to 3 weeks after the procedure, which is completely natural and gets better with time.
Thanks to the small size of the punches used, recovery is typically quick and without significant issues. The donor area will heal within 2-5 days, with short hair growth beginning in the area. The donor area will regain its previous appearance within 2-4 months.
You will be called for your dressing at the clinic the next day of the procedure.
After 3 days of the procedure, you will be called for a mild wash at the clinic. If you cannot visit the clinic, all the necessary instructions for the mild wash will be provided to you.
After 1 week of the procedure, you can return to the clinic for your first hair wash. If you cannot come in, you can send us the photographs, and we will provide you with detailed washing instructions.
You may notice a slight blackish appearance around transplanted hair due to scabbing.
By 7-10 days after the hair transplant, you will achieve a socially compatible look with short hair.
Transplanted hairs will start to shed after 2 weeks, and most will shed by the end of the third or fourth week. This is a normal part of the healing process as the old hair shafts are released, while the follicular units remain intact and begin to grow new hair shafts.
Your recovery and growth timeline are essential parts of the hair transplant process. We will guide you through every stage and address any questions you may have. If you experience any unexpected issues during recovery, please reach out to our team for assistance.
